Brief

‘Orta Format’ is an independent and non-profit e-magazine that focuses on interviews, articles, and projects about contemporary photography. It emerged as the product of a collective effort. Orta Format was established in November 2011. Dozens of interviews, articles, and projects were featured in the magazine. The magazine is available in both Turkish and English and is an important part of the photographic art and culture in Turkey.

 

Solution

We prepared the visual language of Orta Format in a way that does not overshadow the content. It was important to us that photos were visible, the content was readable and functional, and the archive was accessible. We still produce work in a wide range: Branding, website updates, annual reports, posters, covers...

 

We have been providing free support for Orta Format's visual communication needs since 2011. We do this with pleasure like many artists and writers who contribute to the preparation of the publication.
